A Sydney Weekend
The girl and I are packing right now for our trip to Sydney. Well, I've packed already, but that's because I have all kinds of time on my hands.
Thanks to the Australia for Obama group on Facebook, I'll be watching Barack's speech in a bar with ten or so strangers gathered for the same purpose. On Saturday I'll be on a boat off the Central Coast with about 50 members (!) of the girl's family to celebrate her aunt's 80th birthday. Shhh, it's a surprise. And on Sunday, I'm going to the Apple Store. I will try not to compare it to the 5th Ave. store in New York.
The laptop is staying home, and I'll try to cope. Should be fine. But we'll be back in time to catch George Bush's speech. I can't wait for that train wreck!
