Congratulations, Nicole!
Congratulations, Nicole Kidman. I must say that I was a little worried there because entertainment critics and journalists had changed their respective tunes regarding this year's best actress. We all know how I feel about Renee but it could not have gone any other way. Whatta relief. And go see The Hours if you haven't. It's great. I'm reading the book right now. I'm happy with Chicago's winning best picture. It deserved it. Especially for all of the shots of Renee in those dresses. And I gotta say that Michael Moore is awesome.I'm at Helen's right now in Brooklyn. Niketa and Tone need to be left alone so that they may fornicate. And I just needed some space. I just got here a little bit ago and have already managed to find my way to her computer. I'm trudging along on my conference paper. I've put some stuff (mostly thoughts) down in various different places. I have an appointment with Elzbieta tomorrow. I haven't prepared myself for her harsh comments, though. I really need to. I haven't quite figured her out yet. I went up to her at the end of class the other day because she had a book for me. I was putting on my jacket as she was talking to me and she proceeded to fix my collar. That was kinda weird. But I think this relationship will benefit me. She has a lot of good ideas and she has good ways of making me work. She recognizes my weaknesses and helps me work around them. Or at least she gives me ways to go about doing that. So it's nice. We'll see how the meeting goes. I'm also hooking up with Daniel. We went to school in Chico together. He's the friend of mine who traveled in Italy last year with West Side Story. And the last time I talked to him, he was close to being cast in this summer's Music Circus. My weekend was interesting. I may go into it later, though, because it's too much to write right now.
