No Good Can Come From a 'Toxic' Spill
The Brisbane Times reported that emergency people closed down part of Fortitude Valley's Brunswick Street a few hours ago due to a mystery liquid that had spilled all over the road. The report called it a "mystery toxic spill."
Crews apparently shut down 300 meters of "strip" (that's 11,811 inches, 984 feet, and 0.18641136 miles) in order to investigate and keep people safe. What strip, I'm not sure, because the report decided to keep the cross street to itself. There's a little mall, called the Brunswick Street Mall, I think, that one could assume it to be, but why guess? The paper is overwhelming with its information.
How'd it get there?
"We've got no idea," a spokeswoman from Emergency Management Queensland said. "It's just dropped on the road from somewhere, maybe from a truck or something."
It's gone now. Whatever it was.
