NYPD Blues

Well, I guess at this point it's no longer the NYPD's problem. I called the NYC Criminal Court this morning and talked to two people who hate their jobs. After laughing at the first one, under my breath so I don't think she heard, I had to call back in hopes of talking to someone who was a little more patient with someone not used to criminal proceedings. He was very nice. I have to appear next Friday, Jan. 31 at 9 a.m. I will be given a lawyer and if I'm found guilty, I'll probably just have to pay a fine. It will be between $0-250. I'm hoping for $0 but we'll see. This should be fun.  I love severe weather alerts. We got another one. Something about it being really cold tonight. Wind chills below zero. And they mentioned something about frostbite. I should have checked my ears last week for "bright red patches that turn white or grey." I think I'll cover my exposed flesh when I go out today.
