Reunited

Two days; two urinators. Two of 'em! Early this afternoon, I was walking to the train and decided to go down a street that few people frequent (for reasons that I now know). As was the case last night, he was leaning against the wall and facing away from me. There's always the danger of splatter so I try to tread gingerly around them. Anyway, as I approached, he was in the process of zipping up. This man was not nearly as well dressed as the other. And he kind of just walked away as I stepped over his stream. I'm never wearing thongs in this city. I just got back from the library a little bit ago. I was there for four hours finishing up my reading for tomorrow (today). Condorcet is pretty interesting. He discusses the progress of the human mind and its potential to acquire knowledge without limit. Also, he goes into man's quest to achieve perfectibility. Whatever. He then says that those savages who inhabited the New World were lucky to have met the colonialists so that they could better themselves and learn to use Reason to achieve the perfect state. Moving on... Some of you may remember my friend Geno. He lives in New Jersey. I haven't seen him since Feb. 2001. I called him again last night and left my number with his mom. I told her he could call as late as he wanted. I didn't know it at the time but I figured I wouldn't hit the pillow till late, and I went to bed at 3 a.m. And I hadn't heard from him...until 7:15 a.m. So I got four hours of sleep. Can't believe I'm still up. Anyway, I'm going to see Geno Friday. I'm excited. In other news, I bought $10 tickets to see the Spurs play the Knicks next Thursday. It's preseason and David (that's Robinson for those who don't know of my love for the Spurs) probably won't even play. That'd be ok. It'll just be fun to be there. Now, if you tried to e-mail me today or this weekend or any other time that it hasn't gone through for that matter, it's not you. It's not me. It's this university. They wanted us to use these things so frickin' badly and they can't keep it working. They're blaming it on their host or something. Fine. Get a new host then already!
