Stoic Vice

Someone brought it to my attention tonight that I hadn't written in a while. I have been painfully aware of this fact. The reason for my hiatus is simple. I was feeling. Emotions and such were everywhere. Following every step I took, knocking on my peace and quiet looking for attention. And I had to do something about it. And that entailed my blogging hiatus.

But I've stopped feeling now, or, rather, I have decided to shut the door for a bit on it all. It's sad because I had a pretty good week. I was unable to categorize my thoughts and emotions and it was actually a good thing, something to certainly not fear.

But now, I've reverted to the stoicism that I wear so well. Not cool. Thesis, thesis, thesis. Personal shit will be in it. I have no choice. I won't say any more about it until after the class criticizes -- I mean, critiques -- my work in a week and a half.

I haven't written anything yet. Just my proposal, which is due Wednesday. Whatever. I'm gonna close this now to go work on my proposal some more. In the coming days, I would like to write about walls and tokens. I found out just the other day that I was, in fact, a token for an ex.

That wasn't fun to hear. The funny thing is I asked her straight up when we were together. She said "no." But what was she gonna say? Hmmm. How to not be tokenized...We all are to a certain extent. Why do people want to get at us? What do we do to get the attention we get?

Ok, now I'm gonna get off this ride. But before I go, let me leave you with an excerpt from my AstrologyZone.com horoscope for the month of February:

Your morale is about to get an enormous boost at the full moon in Leo, Friday, February 6. A wish that's deeply important to you will start to take flight, so expect the best. Romance seems assured too, as the moon will send a kiss to passionate Pluto, now residing in your house of true love.

Yeah. Ok. And of leos and love, she says:

Leos love to be in love, so Valentine's Day might head your list of favorite holidays.

It doesn't. Really. The site also said I was going to get sick next weekend. She was a week off. So it's all bunk. But, alas, they are fun to read. Especially when it's about me. I mean, leos.
