Stormin’ Deeds

I carried my first stroller up the steps from the subway today. There was a woman who had just taken her little girl from her stroller and as I was walking toward her, I was trying to figure out how she was going to get the thing up the steps. I pointed at the stroller and asked if she wanted help with it. "That would be so nice," or something like that, she said. "Thank you." I'm at work now and am taking a breather before I edit the Edelman interview. I also just checked my e-mail and decided to share the message I received with you: To: The New School University Community Subject: Hurricane Isabel The University is preparing for the possibility of hurricane Isabel arriving in New York later this week. Should we need to make schedule adjustments due to the weather we will place announcements on the web (www.newschool.edu ); radio and television (WCBS 880, WINS 1010 and WNBC Channel 4) and on the central phone message (212-229-5600). Pretty exciting stuff. I wonder how it'll hit. Ok, I'm going back to work.
