'Tis It

As Monday's dawn approaches, I'm no longer able to hide behind anymore weekends. I'm going to be staring at the vast expanse of Nevada's plains in just three days. Then onto Utah where I'll sleep and hopefully get out quickly. I'll have to hold my bladder in Wyoming and Nebraska for fear of getting out of the truck, although my blonde hair will certainly act as a likely shield. I'll take a breather in Chicago this weekend and then onto White Plains after a night stop in Ohio.

Actually, I hear that this land of ours is a beautiful place. And now that I think every group that could have been colonialized has been, we should be in fine shape. The We of the trip consists of the following people: Erin, of course; Erin's dad, otherwise known to her as Poppy; my non-blood-related cousin David who will hopefully do most of the driving and physical moving of things; and, finally, me. I'd go on right now but about an hour and a half ago, I did go on. And on. And on. But then something happened and it didn't post. And I lost what I wrote. And I went and got another beer.

So if I said anything halfway witty or intelligent, there is no hope of my repeating it, especially at 5:25 a.m. I have now officially been up all night and have nothing to show for it. But I did manage to successfully receive a Palm product via the Beam feature. I'm goin' to bed.
