Yeah, It’s Me Again, And So Soon

Why? Who knows. I was gonna go out. Then I changed my mind. I am sending an abstract to a conference ("Reflections on Mixed-Race Identity") and decided to look up the Cultural Studies Association, the folks putting it on. The first return was from Australia and I doubted that was it so I looked further down the Google returns and discovered a little more information about the actual conference. Judith Halberstam is said to be there. She wrote a book (that has turned up missing from my bookshelf) called Female Masculinity. I attempted to read that over the break, along with Judith Butler's Gender Trouble and Michel Foucault's History of Sexuality, Volume I. But the only thing I did over the break was write and some other stuff, which I won't go into. I did manage to read a little of Halberstam's book and thought to myself that it would be cool to meet her. So I'm gonna try to write a really good 500 words about myself (they want personal stories). Maybe I'll get to go to Pittsburgh in June. But since I've changed my mind, again, I will have to get to that after I return from the bar. Thank you for visiting, once again, the effects of the random expanse in my head.
