You Don't Say
It's 4:38 a.m. and I'm one thousand one hundred and seventy words shy of completing my daily NaNoWriMo word-count goal of two thousand. I'm not worried. I'm pushing through. Really. So much so that I took a quiz that caught my eye: What American accent do I have?
I figure there isn't much of an accent up in here to undo, so I most likely won't pick up the roundabouts and figure eights Aussies tend to employ when they talk. (Just an observation that does not offend either my lovely Australian born and bred girlfriend or my Aussie friend here in New York.) But if I haven't picked up the New York speak, then I'm pretty sure I won't ever speak Australian.
The quiz was rough going but the results might be astounding.

Readers, I have a Western American accent! I definitely needed a quiz to determine this. At least they don't have a result category for "Valley Girls." Just because I was born and bred there... (What American accent do you have?)
All right. I got some words to dig up so I can go to sleep.
